SAGE'S SCHEIPE LOSES INTERIM TAG

Marc Scheipe, Sage North AmericaMarc Scheipe, who has been serving as interim president of Sage North America, has lost the interim label. The company has appointed him as president and he will continue to sit on the Sage executive committee, reporting to CEO Steve Kelly. In making the appointment, the company credited Scheipe with hitting financial targets and completing "the first stages of its transformation."

RECKON EYES GLOBAL GROWTH

reckonReckon, which markets online accounting applications, is targeting international growth in three product line segments. The Australian company, which sells the Reckon One accounting package, is expanding in English-speaking companies with its accounting, practice management and document management products. The software publisher described those goals in its investor presentation that accompanied its release of financial results.

FOURTH QUARTER SPURS PRODWARE

ProdwareThe Prodware Group reported a 12.1 percent-increase in revenue for the fourth quarter ended December 31 pushed it to a 4-percent increase for 2015. Revenue for the France-based group hit about $201.7 million for the recently ended year, up 6.7 percent on a like-for-like basis. About 48 percent of revenue for 2015 came from French-speaking areas that include North Africa with sales in that area increasing by 14 percent.
