Intuit turned in double-digit growth in both net income and revenue for the third quarter ended April 30. With the quarter including the majority of tax season, Intuit this week reported net income of $1.38 billion for the most recently ended quarter, a 16.2-percent increase of $1.19 billion a year ago.

About 77 percent of sales of QuickBooks Online Advanced are going to Intuit customers. The other 30 percent are new to the company’s products, Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi said this week.

Sage has released Production Management, a manufacturing module for Sage 100cloud. Built on the Sage 100cloud Business Object Framework, the module offers new customizable features for discrete manufacturers.
