The acquisition of R3D Conseill boosted revenue for Dynamics and Oracle reseller Alithya significantly for the first quarter ended June 30. Coupled with organic growth, R3D helped Alithya achieve a 54.9-percent decline in the company’s loss on a 45.6-percent increase in revenue.

Microsoft has acquired spend management software company Suplari, whose application’s capabilities will be used in conjunction with Dynamics 365. Terms were not disclosed

Vertex slashed its loss for the second quarter ended June 30 by 95 percent as revenue rose by 15 percent. The indirect tax software company lost $2.6 million for the most recently ended period, down from a loss of $39.4 million a year ago.
