Epicor Software is offering what it calls dedicated tenancy for customers that wish more control over upgrades to the company's cloud software. Chief Technology Officer Himanshu Palsule said the technique would give the same cost benefits as from a multi-tenant systems.

Gravity Software has hired Tim Sokoloski as director of channel relationships. The company said he "will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic partnerships designed to help achieve the company's business growth objectives." Sokoloski noted Gravity plans to become a channel-driven business.

Epicor has revamped its pricing structure for its resellers. The new plan was shown to VARs at this week's Insights conference in Nashville, Tenn. It involves bundled pricing, instead of what one VAR termed a confusing set of numbers.
