The year has kicked off with what seems like a flood of investments. In the last week, business has been booming for software companies raising funds.

QuickBase has signed an agreement to receive a majority investment by Vista Equity Partners.  Current investor Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe will retain what was called “a significant investment in the company.” 

Sage says revenue for North American rose 10.4 percent to about $199 million for the third quarter ended December 31. The statistics were presented this week as part of the company’s trading update.
