Stephen Kelly, SageYou have to give Sage CEO Steve Kelly a lot of credit for making things happen in his year on the job. And the change in the structure of the company's X3 program is striking, even if a lot of it has not been discussed publicly. But this year, there has been startling number of people in new positions—both new hires and promotions of Sage employees. There are "lots of changes and more coming including reorganizing the sales team, redefining roles, new roles, and aggressive growth aspirations," said one reseller, who did not wish to be quoted publicly.

Apparently, the new plan will be rolled out to the channel on December 1. Lacking the blueprint, the best indicator is the job titles of those in key roles. The top management listed on the X3 page isn't as new—two of seven are from December, one from October 2014 and one from June 2014 (but not exactly old timers either. Below them are many who took their jobs in 2015, including David Rawling, global product marketing director (October); Russell Slaymaker global product strategy director, (October); Laurent Le Coz, director of manufacturing and distribution product development, Sage global product delivery; Sara Lua, VP at Sage X3 Asia (August) Keith Fenner, chief sales officer, Sage X3 international/director and head of Sage Middle East (August); Steve Tattum, manufacturing and distribution domain leader. global product development (April); Nana Fifield, head of United Kingdom and Ireland and manufacturing application development, Sage X3 product development (April). In the United States, Crystal Mascareno joined in August as VP of X3 North America.
