Kathy Crusco, Epicor Software Epicor Software changed its management profile this week by adding the title COO to the duties of Kathy Crusco, who remains as CFO. The development came as KKR finished its acquisition of Epicor from Apax partners. Crusco will have a full plate as she will lead customer support and HR. Two other execs had changes to their responsibilities and it looks like the completion of a remake of management that has been underway for the last 18 months.

Celia Fleischaker, chief marketing officer and promoted to that position in May, takes over added duties for field marketing, teleprospecting, and product marketing. Chief technology officer Himanshu Palsule, hired in November and promoted in May, also now leads product management, product development, tools and technology. These individuals all report to CEO Joe Cowan, along with Craig McCollum, who remains as EVP for the Americas; Sabby Gill, EVP of international, who was hired in October; Ed Dahl, SVP of business development, who arrived in September; and Mark Mincin, CIO, who has been with the company since June 2014. With Epicor since May 2012, McCollum, a former Microsoft and Sage exec, is the guy who impacts our readers the most as he heads the channel programs. While the new Epicor was created by the merger of the original Epicor with the former Activant in May 2011 begin life with an exec team dominated by the Activant management, Crusco is the only one left of that croup. She was hired by Activant in May 2007.
