SUITEWORLD; STRONG SPONSOR SHOWING

netsuite logo NetSuite's SuiteWorld conference, held this week in San Francisco, looked good by the numbers. The attendee total hit 3,200. But probably a better metric was the number and names of the sponsors the show attracted this year.
Platinum sponsors included Dell Boomi, a Dell business unit, while Gold sponsors include the accounting world's Baker Tilly and IBM. There was a strong showing from channel members exhibiting, which I read as the sign of a healthy channel. The conference booklet showed Accenture as a strategic partner and Wipro as a diamond sponsor. The total was 76 sponsors and exhibitors, a good showing. The week's sessions included a reseller-only affair at which top performers received awards and I presume some insight into what is ahead. Hint: NetSuite does know that this publication is interested in the VARs far more than the users? We went through this last year when it felt like the channel was hidden from the press. SuiteWorld has outgrownhotels and is scheduled to be held in San Jose in 2013. The Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco is booked through 2014.
