She was head of enterprise marketing in India from May 2014 until taking the new job. Her assignment is apparently a newly created position that, quite obviously, has her relocating from India to the Seattle, Wash., area. Before joining Microsoft, she worked for McKinsey & Co. from April 2001 through December 2005, where she was a senior research analyst, operation leader. With the official launch of Dynamics 365 this month, I assume she will be fairly busy.

Microsoft has chosen a veteran of its operations in India to head marketing for Dynamics on this continent. Hitu Chawla started as director of marketing for Dynamics in North America in September. Chawla had worked with Microsoft India since January 2006.
