Randy Wheeler, Rootstock SoftwareRootstock Software has acquired Kenandy, which has become a business unit of the San Francisco, Calif.-based purchaser. Last month's deal has been followed by the appointment of two executives, Randy Wheeler and Mark Saliman.

Wheeler, named managing director for the Kenandy operation, was previously Rootstock's VP of operations in 2015 and 2016. He was most recently CEO of Valley Oak Systems, which was acquired by AON. The company named Saliman as VP of finance. He had served as Kenandy's controller since April 2013 and was previously CFO of Crestpoint Solutions from May 2008 through August 2009. The Kenandy ERP system is built on the Salesforce.com platform and has a Business Objects-based architecture. Rootstock, also Salesforce-based, offers manufacturing and distribution cloud applications.
