TRIBRIDGE MASTER VAR GOALS MODEST

Tribridge, one of three Dynamics Master VARs, has some modest goals for signing sales affiliates under the new channel program. The Tampa, Fla.-based company, which just signed its first affiliate, is interviewing a handful of prospects at Convergence, the Dynamics user conference, according to Jeff Lynn, the VP who leads the program “We are not in the Master VAR game as a volume play,” Lynn said during an interview at the show.

“We expect to sign up another handful of folks the rest of this calendar year, not dozens. Lynn plans to sign 15 to 20 more affiliates in 2013. Tribridge inked 360 Consulting as its first affiliate this month. Tribridge plans to provide affiliates with some sales and marketing support, knowledge about working with Microsoft, along with helping resellers expand their businesses’ scope. ‘We are certainly hoping that they can offer their clients services that they have no other way to provide.” He pointed to Concerto Cloud, Tribridge’s cloud business and SharePoint Services as beyond the ability of some smaller organizations. Affiliates are being asked to sign up for a year, but only need to commit for 90 days and can leave the program by giving notice.
