CEO Fran Craig said in a prepared statement the company will keep all software development in Loudoun County. The Virginia Economic Development Partnership will support Unanet with the training of up to 38 new jobs through its Virginia Jobs Investment Program. The deal keeps Unanet in Loudon County as Alabama, California, Florida, Maryland and Tennessee competed for the facilities. Unanet's partner page on its websites lists 67 firms. I do not know how many of those are active and how many just names on contracts. In this year's Bob Scott's Top 100 VARs, only SSI Consulting reported carrying Unanet. In the 2016 ranking, there were three and two on the Top 100 list and on Unanet's page told me last year they weren't active.

Unanet, which makes project accounting software, will invest $1.67 million to expand operations in Loudoun County, Va. The company markets cloud and on-premise applications and will add 60 jobs as part of its growth. Unanet says it will hire developers, analysts, marketers and engineers.
