He joined the company in 2003 and has been a prime force in its drive to enlist hundreds of companies, making a wide variety of software, to integrate their applications with Avalara’s sales tax products. Kushniruk was moved into his most recent position early in 2019. He served as EVP of global business development from January 2013. Earlier in his career, he held sales manager in the Canadian operations of the former Great Plains Software and was a VP at Abacus Accounting Software.
