INFOR BUYS ORBIS
Infor headed back into the acquisition market this week with the purchase of Orbis Global, which makes SaaS-based marketing resource management applications for large and midmarket companies. Terms were not disclosed.
The product is being added to the Infor Epiphany Suite. Based in San Francisco, Orbis was founded in Sydney, Australia, where it still has offices, and is said to have a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific, and also has offices in London and Singapore. The company was co-founded by CEO Grant Halloran and Brett Halloran, SVP of sales and marketing. Infor described the acquisition as enabling it to create a closed-loop CRM solution that bundles marketing, sales and service.
