AVALARA INKS UPSHOT, KALIO
In its bid to have a contract with every company on the planet, Avalara has signed agreements with Upshot Commerce and Kalio. Well, it only seems that way sometimes as Avalara piles on the agreements. But the latest two relationships add to a rapidly growing list of allies for the Bainbridge Island, Wash.-based sales-and-use tax company.
UpShot Commerce provides ecommerce products and Avalara’s AvaTax can now be used from within the Upshot platform. Kalio provides SaaS eCommerce platforms for mid-sized retailers. Upshot offers a wide range of features that include inventory, order, checkout and customer management, along with shipping and fulfillment. KalioCommerce has flavors of its platform for tablets, smartphones, social media and email. Its KalioEnterprise is its flagship product for in-house system.
