DELTEK NAMES KRONE CFO

Michael Krone, DeltekMichael Krone has moved up from the position of corporate controller to become CFO of Deltek. Krone has held that job since he joined the company in August 2008. It’s a move that keeps leadership at the project accounting company one with a good deal of experience within it. Krone replaces Mike Corkery, who moved up to the CEO’s job in February.

That spot became vacant when CEO Kevin Parker left Deltek on the heels of its acquisition by private equity firm Thoma Bravo late in 2012. Before coming to Deltek, Krone was VP of finance and chief accounting officer at webMethods from June 2006 through August 2007. That company was acquired in June 2007. And he served as public services industry controller at BearingPoint from March 2004 through June 2006.
