SAGE NAMES PAYMENTS CEO Featured

Paul Bridgewater, SageSage North America has named Paul Bridgewater as CEO of Sage Payment Solutions. And with his naming we are seeing an elevation of certain operating areas because the previous head of payments, Greg Hammermaster in August was president, not CEO and Bridgewater reports to North American CEO Pascal Houillon. Similarly, Jim Emerick joins in the newly created position of EVP of customer support for this continent.

His predecessor, Patrick O'Hara, who left last summer, was SVP of customer support reporting to Brad Smith. Emerick will also report to Houillon. The executive hire before those two, Jim Pullen, who was named to the new job of EVP of sales last month, also reports to the North American CEO, who suddenly looks much busier. Bridgewater was previously SVP of global product and innovation for TSYS, which processes merchant acquirers and bank credit card issuers, from August 2011 until taking the Sage job. Emerick has worked at Bank of America in senior executive roles since 2003 and had been SVP and national customer experience executive since 2010. Sage is going to have to have a new photo shoot for the group leadership photo on its web page. The current occupants, Houillon and eight others, include Joe Langner, VP of Mid-Market Solutions, who will probably be gone by the end of the month and then there are the three new faces to fit in. Where's Waldo?
