Fine Solutions was founded in 2004 by Dan Fine, whose Web site said he founded the first known dot-com business, fine.com International, in 1994. (So we can blame him for all that?) He later founded Dynamics reseller In2Gr8, and then became AX practice leader for EYT, which was subsumed into ePartners. Fine Solutions merged in Business Performance Solutions in 2007. ISM partner Stuart Blumenthal says the company, headquartered in Phoenix, plans to be qualified as Sage Select, meaning its gets benefits from carrying only Sage products.

FINE PICKS UP ISM’S PORTLAND CLIENTS
Fine Solutions, a Dynamics reseller based in Seattle, Wash., has acquired the Dynamics clients if Portland-based ISM, a city in which Fine had opened an office in 2009 to handle important clients. Fine is expanding its professional services and aerospace practices into Washington. Fine sells Dynamics AX and GP, along with technology based on Office SharePoint Server.
