EPICOR PICKS RETAIL VP Featured

Noel Goggin, Epicor SoftwareEpicor Software has named Noel Goggin as SVP and general manager of its retail solutions business. He takes over the spot held by Paul Salsgiver from September 2008 through July. Salsgiver's LinkedIn page shows he moved to IBM Gobal Business Services this month where his title is VP and partner in the Global Workday Practice.

Previously, Goggin was SVP of retail strategy at RedPrairie. In 2002, he was cofounder and COO of StorePerform Technologies, which was acquired by RedPrairie in 2007. In 2000, he co-founded Ecovate and was COO of the application infrastructure provider. Salsgiver's departure is not surprising. Just over a year ago, Epicor reorganized the retail division and said that Salsgiver would no longer meet the SEC's requirements for an executive officer.
