Macbeth has been with Sage since 1999 and Rooker has been with Sage 17 years. In a farewell communication, Rooker said the departures are coincidental. Rooker's last day at Sage was expected to be today (January 17). He did not name his new employer or give his new title. Johnson went to Intuit in 2011 and his LinkedIn page does not reflect the new gig at Vocera. However, Johnson says he joined the company in October.

VPS ROOKER, MACBETH LEAVING SAGE Featured
Two long-time VPs are leaving Sage North America - Kevin Rooker, VP of sales management and operations, and Drew Macbeth, VP of sales. Rooker, who recently was given responsibility for channel communications, is reportedly going to healthcare communications company, Vocera. That would make sense since that company's EVP of Sales & Services, Paul Johnson, was an EVP at the former Sage Business Solutions unit from November 2007 through March 2011.
