Epicor Software has released iScala 3.0, which features integration to the Epicor Ice business architecture. The architecture was already available for Epicor ERP, Prophet 21 and Eclipse and supports SQL Server 2012. Ice provides out-of-the box support for business activity queries with point-and-click access to data tables in iScala.

Tribridge has been named the Microsoft Dynamics Outstanding Reseller of the Year. The Tampa, Fla.-based company received the award at this week's Worldwide Partner Conference. It's a repeat performance for CEO Tony DiBenedetto's company which won in 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2012. It has been a good year for Tribridge which was also selected as Dynamics ISV of the Year for the United States, in a category in which no finalists were named.

Sage North America has hired Gabrielle Boko as EVP of marketing. This is a fairly heavy-duty hire. Boko was VP of marketing for SAP from June 2007 until this month and had the same title at OutlookSoft from May 2006 until that company was acquired by SAP. Going back in the early 2000s, she was a senior director at Cognos from August 1997 through May 2001.

Acumatica says it has signed 26 resellers “in the past months” with 11 of the new recruits in Asia. These include Vietnam-based Innovative Consulting. Acumatica published only a partial list of the newbies. But it is notable that this is not a list of Sage and Microsoft VARs, although ESC Software Business Systems, a Tempe, Ariz.-based Sage VAR , is among the group.

Dynamics VAR Tribridge has acquired Tampa, Fla.-based Intelledon, a talent management solutions consultant and integrator. Terms were not disclosed but this appears to be a fairly large nugget for Tribridge to devour. Founded in 2001, Intelledon is a global company specializing in the talent and learning market.

The North American organizations selected for this year’s Dynamics Inner Circle show changing names. But the composition itself is not surprising, a lot of the bigger VARs with a handful of midlevel folks thrown in, which is typical. There’s one fairly new development – except for Armanino, which has been putting a lot of emphasis on growing its consulting and reselling business, there were no accounting firms in the list; no McGladrey or Wipfli, to name a couple that used to make it.
