BRAINSELL PICKS UP INTACCT

Jim Ward, Brainsell TechnologiesBrainsell Technologies has decided to carry Intacct's cloud-based application. Jim Ward, CEO of Topsfield, Mass.-based reseller, said the company had previously sold its NetSuite business to New York, N.Y.-based Net@Work. I have a feeling that Acumatica and Intacct should send Oracle a "Thank You" card for the latter's purchase of NetSuite.

HIGHJUMP BUYS REDTAIL SOLUTIONS

Bob Gleason, RedTail Solutions HighJump has expanded its presence in the EDI market with the acquisition of Westborough, Mass.-based RedTail Solutions. RedTail becomes a part of HighJump's TrueCommerce operations with plans to eventually bring the acquired operations under the TrueCommerce name, but with no current change in strategy or focus.

Jodi Uecker-Rust, State of North DakotaJodi Uecker-Rust has followed her old boss out of the financial software business into the North Dakota state government. The veteran of Great Plains/Microsoft and Sage has become COO of the state under new governor Doug Burgum. Uecker Rust held a variety of titles at Great Plains, ending as COO under Burgum, then the CEO.

COLUMBUS PROMOTES BMI FOUNDER

John Hendrickson, Interdyn BMIColumbus has promoted John Hendrickson, the head of Interdyn BMI to the position of SVP of business transformation. And apparently BMI will finally be integrated with the other Columbus reselling operations in this country. Columbus purchased BMI in 2015 and the Minneapolis, Minn.-area reseller has played an important role in turning around the performance of Denmark-based Columbus in the United States.

XERO NAMES GLOBAL PARTNER HEAD

Anna Curzon, XeroXero has named Anna Curzon as its first chief partner officer. Curzon, who had served as managing director for New Zealand for the last year, moved into the global role this month. In blog post on Xero's website, Curzon gave a general outline of her duties in the new job.

SUGARCRM NAMES WILLEM CFO

Karen Willem, SugarCRMSugarCRM has named Karen Willem as CFO. She fills the position held by Steve Valenzuela from January 2015 through November 201. Willem was CFO of Lilee Systems from October 2015 through January. Before that she was CFO of iPass from June 2013 through June 2015. Besides being responsible for SugarCRM's financial operations, Willem will direct other general and administrative functions.
