Meanwhile, the immediate problem for many firms is a shortage of consultants to handle all the cloud implementations—a recession might send more businesses scrambling for SaaS financial software for more efficient operations. In a world reshaped by the Covid shutdown, remote work drove an accelerated interest in cloud computing. It's a new world in which how the forces interplay is yet to be fully understood.

Epicor’s Grow platform was literally and figuratively in the spotlight at this week’s Insights conference. “We will be able to pull in formation from anywhere,” Lisa Pope, Epicor’s president said during the conference in describing Grow's capabilities.
