SAGE NAMES BIZ CENTER GLOBAL VP Featured

Peter Biber, SageSage has named Peter Biber as global VP of customer experience for its developing Customer Business Centers. Biber, based in Orange County, Calif., has been with Sage since December 2013. His prior job at Sage was as VP of customer experience operations, which he held for a year. From July through October, he was interim VP of the CBC in Atlanta (Lawrenceville, Ga.) In his LinkedIn profile, Biber noted "I will be responsible for growth of the CBCs.

This includes the roll out of new CBCs in APAC and Africa, as well as the additions of new products into the CBCs". When the centers were announced during the summer, Sage said it would open new ones next year. The facilities are designed to support the launch of Sage Live, the cloud-based product that appears focused primarily on mobile operations. In the original CBC announcement, Sage grandly said these centers would change the way customers are supported and would house employees involved in marketing, lead qualifications, sales, service and renewals. It also said they would be working on the Saleforce1 platform, which is the base for Live. The goals are spelled out in ad for a VP of global Salesforce delivery, who will work from the Lawrenceville-based facility. The job description noted Sage's move to technologies underlying its new operating model including Salesforce, Zuora, CRM, billing, entitlement, financial management and integration amongst others and to help develop new products on this platform. The ideal candidate was described as someone with "considerable experience in working at a senior level within the IT function of a global FTSE 100 or similar." The ad bears a lot of hallmarks of having been written in England—you'd think they might want to make it sound a little more U.S. friendly?
