DYNAMICS REVS UP 13 PERCENT Featured

MicrosoftDynamics revenue rose by 13 percent for the first quarter ended September 30, Microsoft said this week. The software company said that stemmed from 69 percent year-over-year growth of Dynamics 365.

That compares for a 7-percent increase for the year ended June 30 in constant currencies. For the most recently ended period,  revenue for server products and cloud services  rose by 17 percent with Azure revenue increasing by 90 percent. Microsoft does not provide dollar amounts for Dynamics revenue. The consensus is that most of the growth is in CRM, not in the ERP side. Meanwhile, everyone on the financial side is still talking about what Microsoft is going to do with its confused naming of the financial products and even more confused presentations made at this year's Directions conference to Dynamics NAV resellers.
