INFOR GOES WITH DYNAMICS CRM
Infor is becoming a Microsoft shop, a Microsoft shop in the sense that it had picked Microsoft as its preferred technology and tools provider in June and has now introduced InforCRM Business, which is built on Dynamics CRM. Infor said it would "significantly extend the core Dynamics CRM functionality, adding industry-specific configurations and content for added value."
Planned enhancements to come include vertical industry business processes, reporting templates, data analytics, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, data entry screens and menus. There will be the addition of a SharePoint-powered interface and the company also plans to utilize its Infor Ion tool for bridging onpremise and online applications.
