UNIT4 GETTING NEW CEO, STRUCTURE

Chris Ouwinga, Unit4Unit4, which markets the Agresso and Coda lines, will get a new CEO in January. The current title holder, Chris Ouwinga, will step down and be replaced by Jose Duarte, former global president services and corporate officer for SAP, with the two acting as co-CEOs until January 1. Duarte held the SAP spot from January 2011 through May 2012. He was  CEO and president of SAP's Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) group from July 2008.

Ouwinga co-founded Unit4, the Holding company for Coda, in 1980 and has been CEO since 1986. The company also plans to change the management structure from two tier combination of a Supervisory Board and an Executive Board, to a single tier board will all current Supervisory Board members on the new body. Ouwinga is becoming chairman and a non-executive director and will remain a shareholder. He is also chairman of FinancialForce.com, the joint venture of Unit4 and Salesforce.com. There might be a mistake in his LinkedIn page which says he has been on the board since 1900, a total of 113 years, but I’m not sure.
