SUGARCRM PICKS MARKETING VP Featured

Jennifer Stagnaro, SugarCRMSugarCRM has hired Jennifer Stagnaro as its SVP of marketing. In the new job, Stagnaro leads branding and marketing initiatives. She was previously VP of global marketing for Immersion. Before that, she was VP of marketing for Audience. She was also executive director for the Meth Project, which was aimed at reducing methadone use among youth. Sugar's previous marketing leaders included Lorna Heynike, who was SVP of marketing until she became the open source software company's group VP of product strategy in April 2012.

She left in September to become worldwide strategy and planning director for HP Software Autonomy. Sugar looked hot in the VAR market last year. But this year, it has seemed to have meandered. The company had an acknowledged sales reorganization in February. But a bunch of people left after that. I'm compiling a list for future publication.
