The company's website clams it has more than 3,000 applications in all areas of running a business, including financial software, HR, CRM, marketing, ecommerce and website builders. Odoo also says it "improved its pricing" by including a free version of up to two users for very small businesses. The financing came from offshore: XAnge (France), SRIW (Belgium), Sofinnova Partners (France), and the management team. Odoo says its sales doubled from 2011 through 2013 and grew R&D staff to more than 100 employees. The company was founded by Fabien Pinckaers, who said Odoo will strengthen operations in the United States and EMEA over the next 18 months.
