M-HANCE U.S. VP TO SAGE VAR Featured

AcumenWhile I was pondering whatever happened to the CEO of m-Hance, a once rapidly growing Dynamics reseller in the United Kingdom, another piece of news popped up. LinkedIn connections led to the fact that Paul Crompton, VP of sales for m-Hance in the United States, has moved to Sage reseller Acumen Information Systems, as VP of business development. Crompton held the Orlando, Fla.-based job with the British company from June 2013 through March 2014.

He then joined Clearwater, Fla.-based Acumen, which carries Sage 300. Acumen also has offices in Canada. Anyway, at Microsoft Convergence in early March I was tipped off that Mark Thompson, CEO of m-Hance, had left or was leaving and that there was other belt-tightening. By mid-month, Thompson's picture and biographical sketch had disappeared from the company's website and my email about this status received no reply. However, no one with the title of CEO has been listed since then, although Thompson's LinkedIn page still shows him in charge at m-Hance. The reseller has vertical and horizontal add-ons for Dynamics AX, GP, CRM and SharePoint, including include sales connect, purchase management, marketplace, delivery management, social business, bank management and dynamic documents
