NEXTEC TAKES ON ACUMATICA Featured

Eric Frank, NexTecThe NexTec Group has picked up the Acumatica line. It's a good win for Acumatica. Seattle, Wash.-based NexTec is No. 30 on the Bob Scott's Insights Top 100 VARs for 2015 with $19.48 million in annual revenue. It was great timing that the press release on this broke the same day Nextec announced that it was honored for 2015 Best Business Partner for Migration for Sage X3 at the worldwide sales conference for that product in Istanbul, Turkey.

The reseller, whose president and co-founder is Eric Frank, carries Dynamics GP, SL, Sage 500 and X3, along with Dynamics CRM and Sage CRM. In 2015, NexTec was the Sage Partner of the Year for Top Growth and was recognized for Top New License Sales and Fastest Growth for Sales of X3. It made the Dynamics President's Club from 2005 through 2011 and was a Dynamics Inner Circle member in 2005 and 2007. 2013  It was also Solver BI360 Sage Partner of the Year. For all its emphasis on X3, Sage made no effort to generate press coverage of the Istanbul conference. When I queried the PR department about this, I was told there was no news. I guess publicizing reseller awards was not considered newsworthy. Letting us know there was conference was also apparently not judged to be important.
