SAGE SALES VP KAMPEL LEAVES Featured

Craig Kampel, Sage Craig Kampel has left his position as VP of sales and service of Sage MidMarket Solutions. Kampel took the job only a few months ago. Chief revenue officer Richard Spring said the company is looking for a replacement and thanked Kampel for his service. In the position, Kampel was responsible for managing Sage's MidMarket sales, training and professional services group for the United States.

He had worked for Sage since January 2011, but most of his experience was on the company's HR side of the business. Kampel joined the former Great Plains Software in January 1999 and moved to Microsoft with that company's purchase of Great Plains in 1999. In his last position there, Kampel was senior director of corporate accounts for Latin America and the Caribbean from November 2009 through July 2011.
