OPEN SYSTEMS BUYS VAR

open systems logo Open Systems has acquired reseller InterMicro and is using the former VAR's operations to move into offices in Greenville, S.C., and Edmond, Okla. Founded in 1993, InterMicro was headed by president Jim Robinson, who joins Open Systems as an executive sales consultant.

This is the second purchase of a VAR by Open Systems in the last two years. It acquired Salado, Texas-based TBC International in January 2010.
