EPICOR MAKES PALSULE CTO Featured

Himanshu Palsule, Epicor SoftwareHimanshu Palsule seems to do well wherever he goes. And after serving since November as head of global delivery for Epicor Software, the software company has made him chief technology officer. He replaces CTO Jeff Kissling who was become chief scientist with a focus on research and technology innovation. Kissling had held the position since May.

Palsule will report to Epicor's CEO Joseph Cowan. Palsule joined Epicor after working at Sage since 1997, serving as CTO with the company from July 2012. Before that, he was VP and GM of products and technology with Open Systems. Kissling, who has not gotten around to adding his Epicor job to his LinkedIn page, was CTO at Online Resources from November 2010 until joining Epicor. In Epicor alumni news, LinkedIn shows that Pervez Qureshi, who was CEO from 2011 to 2013, has a job as CEO of Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Saba Software, which markets talent management software. From 2004, Qureshi was with Activant Solutions, which merged with Epicor in 2011 and was Activant's CEO from 2006 through taking the same post with Epicor.
