FULLSCOPE TO PICK UP DYNAMICS CRM

Shirley Singleton, Edgewater TechnologyFullscope, a Dynamics reseller owned by Edgewater Technology, will start selling Dynamics CRM this year. The plan was discussed Edgewater CEO Shirley Singleton as the company reported results for the year ended December 31.

Previously, the company has concentrated on Dynamics AX, but it will start selling CRM seats, along with emphasizing the rest of the Microsoft product stack. "When you hear future earnings calls, you may not hear so much emphasis on ERP as a standalone," Singleton told listeners on the fourth-quarter conference call. Both executives and analysts indicated it was a good year as Edgewater topped $100 million annually for the first time. Among factors that Singleton cited regarding increased revenue was a resurgence in manufacturing in the upper part of the midmarket. The company ended 2011 with a profit, although the bottom line was held down by a $2.2 million non-cash lease abandonment charge. For the fourth quarter, Edgewater lost $1.9 million, compared to $107,000 for the year earlier quarter. Fourth-quarter revenue was $26.4 million, an increase of 12.2 percent from $23.5 million in last year's corresponding period.  Edgewater had $344,000, compared to a loss of  $23.8 million in 2010. Revenue for the recently ended year was $102.2 million, up 15.7 percent from $88.5 million for 2010. The 2010 loss stemmed from a $21.4 million non-cash charge for an increase in a deferred tax asset valuation allowance.
