Ryan Plourde, AbleBridge Crowe Horwarth has acquired Ablebridge, a Westborough, Mass.-based firm that resells Dynamics CRM and uses that package as a platform to build add-ons. Terms were not disclosed. Crowe said AbleBridge's flagship product is BenefitsBridge, which provides insurance benefits brokers with a highly specialized agency management application.

The deal gives Crowe its first location in the Boston area. AbleBridge was founded in January 2008 by Ryan Plourde, who joined the Chicago, Ill.-based accounting firm as a principal in Performance Consulting. AbleBridge also markets EditAble CRM Grid, a Dynamics CRM add on that allows users to build Dynamics CRM forms, and Project Management, described as providing end-to-end management for professional services firms. AbleBridge was added to the accounting firm's existing Dynamics CRM practice. Crowe also resells Dynamics AX and GP. With $82.1 million in revenue, Crowe was No. 5 on Bob Scott's Top 100 VARs for 2016.
