SERERRA BEEFS UP MANAGEMENT
Online reselling specialist Sererra has added some top talent to its management team. The Irvine, Calif.-based cloud reseller has hired Akbar Jaffer, who had been principal product manager at Oracle, and Sid Fierro, previously a sales director and account executive for Software Acquisition Partners.
Jaffer has joined the company as senior solutions architect. He was with Oracle from August 2006 through last month. Fierro, who was with his previous employer from November 2007 through February 2012, is now Sererra's business development manager. Sererra sells NetSuite, Intacct, SAP Business ByDesign and Salesforce.com and also has its own Partner Program for promoting and referring its product lines. Its location partners include VARs, software publishers and management consulting firms. Sererra also has sub-location partners, a more entry-level category, referral partners and certified consultants.
