SAGE OUTLINES PRICE INCREASES Featured

SAGESage has published the percentage increase for midmarket products this year. Prices on almost all midmarket applications go up by 3 percent on May 1 and on Business Care renewals on August 1. One exception is Sage HRMS which gets a 4-percent hike on both new licenses and renewals. The 3-percent increase affects the following: Sage 100 Contractor, 100 ERP, 300 Construction and Real Estate, 300 ERP, 500, Budgeting and Planning, BusinessVision Accounting, BusinessWorks and CRM.

There is no change to Canadian pricing that is higher than U.S. pricing. The company also raised Business Care rates for Sage CRM Stand Alone to be consistent with rates CRM Integrated, which are 21 percent for the Silver Plan and 25 percent for the Gold Plan. This appears to be an annual rite of spring. "They did almost the same announcement in April 2013," said one reseller. Guess if you are Sage, you hope that second half 2014 North American revenue increases by more than 3 percent.
