SAGE NAMES GLOBAL PRODUCT VP Featured

Antoine Henry, SageEarlier this month, Sage named Antoine Henry as EVP of global product marketing. You may not have read it, even though it was posted on the corporate website, as the press release was published only in French. But the online translators I use—outside of producing the occasional odd phrase—seem to leave little doubt this is a global, not France-only job. I'd say I'm surprised the news was not translated but given how the French press office has handled X3 publicity, not really.

Henry has been with Sage since August 1996 and his latest position was as CEO of Sage France from December 2010 until last month. And oh yes, his LinkedIn page does call him EVP of global product marketing so the lack of a general announcement seems more odd. The appointment itself is in line with Sage's creation of more global executive jobs—such as the recent elevation of Jennifer Warawa to the position of global VP of product marketing for accountants. It might be worth noting Sage also did not announce Warawa's promotion. I guess the word "global" in your title isn't worth what it used to be. The way Sage is going with its appointments in the last two months, its executive team will have more titles than the Queen of England. Well, she hasn't gotten to the cloud either.
