Well, data entry is supposed to be automatic in the short-term. "After just three months, most of your data entry is eliminated as the app learns about your business," CEO Francois Nadal said in a prepared statement. That's a little bit short of the promise of the headline: "One Up Revolutionizes Small Business Accounting by Eliminating Data Entry with New Mobile Business Suite." The product's Inventory features synchronize with POS "so all that is left is to validate the suggested orders to vendors and stock is replenished with one click. The inventory information will also be updated automatically in Square and other partners, keeping all the information needed to fulfill sales orders current," sayeth the press release. The obvious question is whether One Up was the first test on the road to 7-Up. Prices start at $9 per month for one user. Nadal's LinkedIn page says he is CEO of Myerp.com which his tagline modestly describes as "# 1 worldwide Cloud ERP for small business". MyERP.com has been renamed One Up, whose webpage claims 350,000 users.

ANOTHER SMB ACCOUNTING APP Featured
Just what the world needs: another entry into the small business accounting competition. Okay, I'm sure the folks at One Up are fine; it's just there are so many entries in this market someone should publish a field guide. "Ah yes, the yellow-throated accounting package. You can distinguish it..." This one claims to provide-hands free accounting that requires no data entry. The suite includes automatic inventory, CRM and invoicing. The company bills the product as one that is aimed totally at mobile users.
