SYSPRO SPLITS CHANNEL JOB

Joey BenadrettiIt's a little old as news, but Syspro US has split its channel management position into separate sales and channel relation manager jobs. Joey Benadretti, president of Syspro US says the company hired Stephanie Hargrove "a few months ago" to work with resellers in improving their business operations in areas such as marketing. During the same period, it also introduced a product certification program for VARs, which it plans to gradually extend to end users.
The company, Benadretti said, also formed teams to work on areas that cross departments at Syspro in order to make the company more efficient. Benadretti said Syspro was working to improve reseller operations and the company’s relationship with its VARs because generally there are few terms of reseller programs that differentiate one vendor from another. However, changes to the program this year include a greater number of educational sessions, enhanced marketing support and more resources to obtain qualified leads. It also released "The ERP Resellers' Guide to Selecting the Right ERP Software Vendor."
