That seemed to fly in the face of the many press release issued by winners that said the awards were made by Microsoft's U.S. Small and Mid-sized Business Group at a reception at Inspire, the renamed Worldwide Partner Conference. Given links to the press releases issued by VAR winners, WagEd said it knew of no one in PR that dealt with this issue. So does this say something about how Microsoft views the SMB products: GP, NAV and SL? Maybe. It is known that Microsoft wants to replace its Dynamics financial software products with one enterprise application and one SMB title. Certainly, Microsoft's designated future is with Dynamics 365 whether the version that is AX or the edition that is NAV. It is always possible that the lack of publicity is that the SMB group has never figured out figure relations. Or just maybe, it does not generate enough revenue for Microsoft to bother.
