DELTEK TO PURCHASE ONVIA Featured

Russell Mann, Deltek Deltek has entered an agreement to buy Onvia, a Seattle, Wash.-based company, which markets sales intelligence and acceleration products for businesses selling to the public sector. Publicly held Onvia had revenue of $25.7 million for the year ended December 31, an increase of 4.2 percent from $23.5 million for 2015.

Deltek agreed to pay $9 cash per share. Based on the 7.3 million shares outstanding on June 30, the deal has a value of roughly $65.8 million. Deltek says the acquisition will strengthen its GovWin IQ market intelligence and information solution products. The company is led by CEO and president Russell Mann, who was hired in January.
