ARMANINO PICKS CYBERSECURITY HEAD Featured

Armanino has hired Terry O’Daniel as its new director of cybersecurity. The San Ramon, Calif.-based accounting firm says the hiring bolsters its cybersecurity offerings.  As the Mega Cortex ransomware spreads around the world, cybersecurity is only going to become more important as a necessary service.

Anyone familiar with the outage that hit Wolters Kluwer and its CCH operations this week won’t doubt that. O’Daniel was director of technology compliance for Salesforce from February 2016 through October 2018. He served as Yahoo’s director of governance, risk, and compliance from 2011 through 2016. O’Daniel’s professional credentials include Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls and Certified Information Privacy Technologist.
