MARKETING OFFICER LEAVES COUGAR

Mike AndersonMike Anderson, who served as chief marketing officer for Cougar Mountain Software, has moved to another company. Anderson held the job with the Boise, Idaho-based vendor from March through November of this year. His LinkedIn page shows he is now CIO/CMO at Landmark Home Warranty in South Jordan, Utah.
Anderson had an active eight months at Cougar where he led a rebranding campaign and the company redesigned its website and blog sites. That also came at a time when Cougar was pumping new life into its channel program. That includes an effort to sign new VARs after the company admittedly let the base shrink and a referral program that was announced in September. Meanwhile, the company released Denali 3.2, the latest addition to that accounting software line with new features for Denali Business+Accounting and Denali Fund+Accounting. With enhancements to the fund package users can now view allocation codes and verify which have been posted, include budget and allocation history when users purge through the General Ledger Purge History window and import and export data in the GL.
