infor logoInfor has introduced Infor10 Marketing, an integrated database marketing application, as part of the Infor10 CRM Enterprise (Epiphany) suite. The package helps marketers plan, execute and monitor direct-to-consumer marketing activities and customer touches simultaneously across outbound channels such as email, direct mail, SMS, Facebook and Twitter, and inbound elements, including websites, mobile, online store, call center, voice response units, POS terminals, kiosks and ATMs.
Marketing also offers analytics that can incorporate scores from both inbound and outbound channels and can also utilize scores from external analytical tools. Users are able to automatically track campaign histories, monitor responses across multiple channels, and use response data to trigger follow-up conversations through any channel. Contact histories are integrated into one table, and query and filtering capabilities can be used to create targeted lists. If you wonder about the names in parentheses in Infor announcements, the company is transitioning from the historical names of applications it has acquired and placing them under the Infor10 brand. This puts it just a bit ahead of Sage, which is making the same change with its product lines. I assume we will see those parenthetical names disappear over the next two or so years.
