Services will include designing cloud computing strategy and business processes for clients who are moving to the cloud. Last week's newsletter mentioned the naming of a chief cloud officer by Tribridge in January. There is not a stampede to forming separate cloud groups; but there is probably a trend developing. There is one likely benefit to forming a cloud division that has nothing to do with technology. It should be easier to sell off divisions that focus on desktop software in case the SaaS business takes off and a company decides to concentrate on the cloud.
