UXC PICKS UP NETSUITE

Ivan Cole, Cole SystemsUXC, an Australian-based company that carries enterprise and midmarket financial applications, has picked up the NetSuite line. It's really notable that UXC, formerly known as Eclipse Computing, moved into the new product on the heels of having a client win a Dynamics Customer Excellence award, the heels being about a week old. And specifically, its customer Weightwatchers International won the award for Cloud Transformation.

The award summary did not specify which Dynamics product was involved but noted it is given to "an organization that has achieved measurable success through innovative cloud-based use of Microsoft Dynamics through a hosted or online deployment." Well, since Microsoft does not have a true cloud product, other than CRM, why not pick up NetSuite? UXC has been busy. In January, the company changed its name from Eclipse Computing (Australia) Pty Ltd to UXC Eclipse Pty Ltd (UXC Eclipse) and has office in several countries. Last year, it made the Dynamics Inner Circle. More recently, it bought New York-based Cole Systems, which used to be a lot more visible or maybe owner Ivan Cole went into witness protection. Or just maybe he hasn't answered phone calls or email from the press (or just mine) during most of the last decade. Cole carries Dynamics AX, GP and CRM and is notable for its industry involvement. It has AX for Retail, along with Coyal, a customer loyalty package for AX for Retail The parent carries AX, GP, NAV and CRM, along with Infor's SunSystems. The website says it's business as usual at Cole Systems, which means I won't be hearing anything from them.
