"We put brakes on. We recruited a lot of partners, but with some we had not a lot of activity," said Stijn Hendrikse, Acumatica's chief sales and marketing officer. The company restarted the effort about five months ago and had picked up about 40 recruits in that time. Among the enlistees are Macabe Associates, known as a Sage developer; Faye Business Systems and Access Systems. Incidentally, that channel count includes 35 that Acumatica considers not to be active. That suggests a certain amount of pruning is coming.

ACUMATICA VAR EFFORT PICKS UP Featured
Acumatica has ramped up its channel recruiting over the last few months. The company said its worldwide channel has hit 221 organizations. Surprisingly, the Kirkland, Wash-based company says it had slowed down recruiting previously.
