Avalara has acquired Impendulo Ltd., a London, England-based company that provides application for insurance tax compliance. Terms were not disclosed.

Sage is now offering GCPay as an add on for its construction software packages, Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate and Sage 100 Contractor. GCPay was previously integrated with both applications.

Sage cut the number of employees outside of its key markets by 26 percent last year, according to the company’s recently published annual report. The numbers support Sage’s report that it will sell four businesses outside of its core markets.
